Tip: Dosa batter gone sour?... kids refusing to have dosa along with chutney?... mix some mint/coriander chutney(without adding tamarind if it si for reducing sourness of the batter) to make some delicious, colorful dosas...:) you can also add tomato chutney, carrot/beetroot chutney etc... tomato chutney will increase the sourness of the batter though...
Meera, that's a beautiful fruit arrangement!!!...will try to replicate it sometime... what is the base used to stick the fruits?...

as for the fruit arrangements, actually I saw it in my friends house.:-D
She had done it in a round bowl.
Since I was having a function in my house.
I bought a basket and did the arrangements there.
You need the little hard type of sponge, plastic spikes and fruits.
I used two types of melon, strawberry, grapes and pineapple.
You can use any fruits of your choice.

Well Rose , here is the recipe for the groundnut curry.

GROUNDNUT CURRY
Ingredients:
1 tbs gingelly oil
¼ tsp mustard seeds
¼ tsp urad dal
¼ tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp funugreek seeds
¼ tsp aniseeds
1 sprig curry leaves
1 pinch of asafetida
1 big onion chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 brinjal cut into cubes
1 cup fresh groundnuts, boiled till cooked
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 tbs sambar powder
Salt to taste
1 tbs tamarind paste mixed into 1 cup of water
Method:
Heat oil in a kadai, add in the seasonings.
Let them splutter well. Add in the chopped oniopns.
Let it brown a little. Add in the chopped tomatoes and brinjal.
Stir fry well and let it cook till the brinjals are little soft.
Add in the cooked groundnuts, fry well for a minute.
Now add in the turmeric powder, sambar powder and salt.
Stir fry well, add in the tamarind juice.
stir well , cover and cook for few minutes.
The gravy should be a little thick now.
Taste for salt and remove.
Goes well with rice, chapathi and things.
