Kaththi 1st weekend overseas collection
Vijay and Samantha Starrer Kaththi which is directed by A.R. Murugadoss had a massive opening weekend in overseas markets. Kaththi has declared as Blockbuster in some of the key markets like USA , UK and Malaysia already.
Trade Reports:-
USA: In its opening weekend, the film has collected Rs. 3.48 crore ($570,207) on 98 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 3.56 lakhs ($5,818).
UK: In its opening weekend, the film has collected Rs. 2.20 crore (£222,581) on 56 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 3.93 lakhs (£3,974).
Kaththi turned as 2nd highest opening weekend grosser at UK
Australia: In its opening weekend, the film has collected Rs. 34.23 lakhs (A$61,811) on 7 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 4.89 lakhs (A$8,830).
Kaththi turned No.1 highest weekend grosser of all time at Australia
France: In its opening weekend, the film has collected Rs. 74.11 lakhs (€95,000) on 24 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 3.08 lakhs (€3,958).
Malaysia: In its opening weekend, the film has collected Rs. 3.30 crore (MYR 1,767,970) on 32 screens and average work out per screen Rs. 10.33 lakhs (MYR 55,249).
Note: – Malaysia collection is from reported screens only, Kaththi released in 89 screens & actual will be higher.
