Thank you Jinju, but they're probably others like me somewhere out there from other backgrounds / nationalities who haven't joined the hub yet, so I'm not rare.
Thalaivar didn't only open the doors for me to Tamil film music but also to all other Southern regional film music :)
There's no questioning that thalaivar has a made a stamp for himself across the world.. But I admire Deepak D. alot as well as Sharreth from the Malayalam industry.
I feel Deepak ji has a lot of potential to break barriers, I really hope he does get it his cue and recognition all over India. But I don't want to dwell on him too much as this is an ARR hub...
Thendrale - kathal Desam
What a beauty!
Uyirum neeye, udalum neeye
Lovely guitar in the first half of the song!

Thaiya Thaiya - Uyire
Of all songs ARR composed this song is my favourite ARR song.
Yes.

ARR's singing in Mustafa 8-). He has a Z Factor which he brings in his singing. Adhu eppadi solrardhunu theriala. It's quite unique. Fantastic song from the fantastic decade of 90's.

A cheesy but great song. ARR really saturates the sound in this song to give the song a warm kinda feeling.
E20 U18?
Mustafa Mustafa on loop - son's latest craze :P

This song proves music has no language and for me this song is like water for fish, as I need to listen to it every day before sleeping. THALAIVAR, no words! :notworthy:
Newyork Nagaram
Thalaivar's successful attempt to differentiate himself from 'Cloned Mangoes'.
Changing Seasons

Balleileka - Sivaji
Actually a really good Rajini intro song! So much heart in it. I guess that comes naturally with anything SPB sings. :D
I actually like this song more now than when it was first released!

As far the video purpose is concerned, I reckon (hope) it's something to do with the "all hyped" international album promotion.Quote:

This combination is a deadly one and I believe they still have a lot to offer.
