Prabhas taken aback
The pre-release press meet of Kumki was held recently and the entire team was present to speak about the film. Lingusamy, the producer of the film, welcomed the gathering and said that Telugu actor Prabhas was shocked to see the reception to the Kumki trailer in theatres.
He announced on the occasion, "Prabhas was watching Thuppakki and the trailer of Kumki was screened at the interval. Prabhas, who wasn't aware of the film, asked his friend about it, when he heard the applause for the trailer. When he came to know that it was the launch pad of Sivaji Ganesan's grandson, Vikram Prabhu, he was thrilled."
Kumki has Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon in the lead and is directed by Prabhu Solomon.
