In films too, he always displayed great comic timing even though he mostly played just the goofy type sidekick roles. When it comes to his stage-plays, he's irrepressible. What's really remarkable is the gusto with which the jokes get risqué or outright silly -- in general, the kinds that's often brushed off as unsophisticated humour. He plunges the depths to get a joke, carelessly piercing through all facades of decency, busy aspiring for the 'descent' quotient instead.
