Thala Ajith's 'evergreen friend' talks about Veeram
Ramesh Khanna will be seen in a substantial role in the Ajith starrer Veeram and the veteran actor is thrilled to be back in an Ajith film as his friend, after being a part of many Ajith films such as Villain, Amarkalam, Anjaneya and Varalaru to name a few. He was even labeled as the 'Evergreen Friend' in the title cards of Anjaneya. In a conversation with Behindwoods, the actor opened up about his role in Veeram
"I play Ajith's childhood friend in the movie and I will be a part of many comedic and romantic episodes in the film along with Ajith, Santhanam, Tamannah and the actors who play Ajith's brothers in the film. The producers and director Siva wanted me specifically as I share a good sentiment with Ajith's films in the past. The movie is already 60% complete. Ajith is looking very happy and remains as smart as ever despite his salt 'n' pepper style. He has participated in some risky stunt scenes in the rain and recently on top of a train. His chemistry with Tamannah will be talked about as both of them are such proven artistes."
Veeram is set for release in January 2014.
