May be in NC it is overpriced but everywhere else. It is priced ($10) reasonably, omega!
@omega are you in charlotte ,NC. in http://www.ayrsleycinemas.com/ tickets are 10 dollars, they had for $20 dollars for premier shows.

Luckily Rajini did not accept this movie. The same mouth praising Vikram will say completely opposite of what they say now when it comes to Rajini. :lol:

"I" has not clicked that well with Telugu audience. It might collect big but critics and gen telugu public did not appreciate like they did for anniyan or robo..
We have to see how these "hindi audience" take this movie!

Excellent effort by Vikram. But alas ...... on the whole, the movie is too plastic. Superficial. Fantastic locations and picturisation ... but lacks the punch.
Not surprised Shankar would limp badly that without Sujatha (pillar behind Indian, Mudhalvan, Anniyan). Suba have a terrible track record post KO and Arrambam. Maattrraan was a flop and this one being half-baked, I too am worried about Anegan, as it's from same duo.
Don't you think every mass actor have their own haters. Isn't it normal and usual? I can never convince a Thala hater to criticize him less for logical loopholes in his movies. What matters is the common audience. Don't think Rajini is singled out here. We can't compare with Vikram. Hadn't been Ajith or Kamal or Rajini, the film would have received same brickbats.Quote:

Fantastic Casting: Ramkumar, Suresh Gopi, some Model guy and the transgender.
The transgender overtook others in performance.

"I" opened huge in Andhra. May be the biggest opening in couple of years. I think shankar should move to hyderabad
Vikram top class :clap: entertaining movie with Kohinoor :slurp: really proud of this ladioo to act so seamlessly in damil and please all brownies simply superb.
Its a bold move from sangar to show lead actor as a beast and still pull this one through.
Guest appearance : Mallaya Uncle, Power Star as Enthiran Part II :lol:
Finally, Shankar gets a pass mark from Dilbert! :)

Just back from I, Entertaining and engaging.. you will not be regretted watching in silver screen.. definitely a HIT material.. but I felt Shankar's magic is missing..
If not for shankar, watch it for Vikram he deserves it..
If you are planning to watch with young kids reconsider.. my 6 year old daughter didn't like kooni character's disgusting appearance and some scenes are not appropriate for young kids..
I was entertaining for sure but not that engaging when compared to Shankar's earlier works like Anniyan, Sivaji and Endhiran...it was engaging in only bits and pieces...I felt somewhat it was dragging as it was predictable thereafter..was looking at the watch frequently for the last 45 mins...
Watched it today near LA with around 10 people in theater.
Easily the Worst movie of Shankar.
Someone injected Linguswamy+KSR virus into Shankar!
