Vijay’s magnanimous gestures towards the general populace is widely known. Recently, after seeing a viral picture that is going rounds on the internet on a girl named Bala who needs bone marrow transplantation, Vijay immediately donated 2 lakhs through Bussy Anand, Treasurer of his social welfare movement Makkal Iyakkam. Anand visited Ramachandra hospital and handed over the cheque in person. It must be noted that Sivakarthikeyan also contributed funds for Baby Bala.
Earlier this week, Vijay visited his ardent fan Archana who was celebrating her birthday. Archana is suffering from severe heealth issues and expressed her wish to meet Ilayathalapathy. When her well-wishers passed on the information to the nearby fan club in Rangarajapuram. They brought the matter to Vijay and he immediately obliged.
