dear friends. I fear whether we have reached a stage of saturation or stagnation or a stalemate? When things were getting oriented towards the right direction, it is quite unfortunate that for personal whims and fancies, we have forgotten our duty of glorifying our NT. Live and let live. It is a rare opportunity for all of us to have united under a single umbrella to pay tributes to our NT. When the space and time are shared by stalwarts, exponents,thespians, literates and intellectuals that is unique for any NT thread, should it lead to an unhealthy atmosphere of so called hallucination 'ego clash'? kindly come out of such illusions and mirages so as to show our unified strength with the conducive ambiance for expressing views radiating from multi-corners with the single most objective of disseminating NT's name and fame. Remaining just silent spectators is only a way of 'escapism' I personally feel. Kindly come back pals and give life to our mission with vision.

dear RKS please show your 'event managing' calibre inasmuch as you have been pinpointed as the moderator for the next thread. Now I started feeling that really the number 13 is unfortunate and a bad omen?

திருவிளையாடல்- 1965.

சிவாஜியின் புராண படங்களின் வரிசையில் நான்காவது படமான திருவிளையாடல் அவர் அறிமுகமாகி 13 ஆண்டுகள் கழிந்தது. இதற்கு முன் சம்பூர்ண ராமாயணம்(1958) படத்தில் சிறிய பங்கு பரதனாக. ஆனால் ராமனை மீறி பரதன் புகழடைந்தது நடிகர்திலகத்தின் பிரத்யேக சரித்திரம்.அதுதான் சிவாஜி.இன்னொரு அரசியல் ஜி ராஜாஜியின் பாராட்டே சான்று. 200 நாள் கண்ட வெற்றி சித்திரம்.பரதனும்,பாடல்களும் சாதித்தது. அடுத்த ஸ்ரீ வள்ளி(1961) ,ராமண்ணா இயக்கிய ,நடிகர்திலகத்தின் இரண்டாவது வண்ண படம்.இரண்டாவது புராண படம். ஏனோ சோபிக்கவில்லை. நடிகர்திலகமே கிண்டலடித்தார் தன்னுடைய சிவாஜி ரசிகன் பட தொகுப்பு ஆல்பத்தில். 1964 இல் வெளியான கர்ணனின் புராண சரித்திர இதிகாசம் நான் சொல்லி ரசிகர்களுக்கு தெரிய வேண்டியது இல்லை.உலகுக்கே தெரிந்த உன்னதம்.

1965 -திருப்பு முனை வருடம். 1964 அவருடைய வெற்றி சரித்திரத்தின் பாக்ஸ் ஆபீஸ் உச்சம். 1965இல் புதியவர்களின் வருகை, மற்றும் re- emergence of entertainment movies அவருடைய பழனி,அன்பு கரங்கள் படங்களுக்கு போதிய வரவேற்பில்லாமல் செய்தது.போர், திராவிட அரசியல்,கடவுள் எதிர்ப்பு எல்லாம் உச்சத்தில் இருந்த வேளையில் திருவிளையாடல் வருகை. திருவிளையாடல் அளவுக்கு,எதிர்ப்பிலும் ,சாதகமற்ற சூழ்நிலையிலும் சாதித்து காட்டிய படங்கள் உலகளவில் பார்த்தாலும் வெகு சொற்பமே. இதன் இமாலய வெற்றி உலகறிந்தது.

திருவிளையாடலின் பிரத்யேக சிறப்புகளை பார்ப்போம்.அதுவரை வந்த புராண படங்கள் யாவும் ,இதிகாச கதையமைப்பை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டவை. அதில் ஒரு நாயகனை வரித்து ,சார்பு கொண்டாலும் ,பெரும்பாலும் கதையமைப்பு சார்ந்தவை.பக்தி படங்களிலும் உருக்கம்.miracle அடிப்படை . இந்த நிலையில் சிவனின் திருவிளையாடல் புராணத்தை அடித்தளமாக்கி episode பாணியில் கதை கோர்ப்பு முயற்சிகளுக்கு முன்னோடி திருவிளையாடல்.வெகு வெகு சுவாரஸ்யமான கோர்ப்பு. முதலில் ஒரு புராண படம் நாயகனை முன்னிறுத்தி உருக்கம்,பக்தி,miracle,glorification இவற்றை செய்யாமல் ,சராசரி மனிதர்களின் பிரச்சினைகளே விஸ்வரூப தரிசனமாய் 5 எபிசோடில் விரிந்தது.(connectivity with common mans' problems and his heart)

முதல் பிரச்சினை- sibling ego conflict . குடும்ப பிளவில் முடியும் முருகனின் தனி வீடு பிரச்சினை. ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிலும் நடப்பது போல மக்களால் connect பண்ணி உணர முடிந்த ஒன்று.ஆனால் அசாதரணமான ஞான பழத்தை முன்னிறுத்தி. ஏற்கெனெவே பிரபலமான ஒவ்வையார் பாத்திரம்,கே.பீ.சுந்தரம்பாள் இவற்றின் வெகு புத்திசாலிதனமான நுழைப்பு. படத்திற்கு புது களையை அளித்து விடும்.(பழம் நீயப்பா).

இரண்டாவது பிரச்சினை- நெற்றிக்கண் திறப்பினும் குற்றம் குற்றமே என்று சொன்ன அறிஞர்களின் தார்மீக நெறி சார்ந்த ethic based ego conflict .இதில் இலக்கியம் ,மொழிவளம்,நகைச்சுவை,உன்னத நடிப்பின் உச்சம்,சுவாரஸ்யமான விவாத போக்கு இவற்றினால் ஒரே பாடல் கொண்டு 50 நிமிட படம் போகும் வேகம். (ஏ.பீ.என் ஏற்கெனெவே இதற்காக practice match ஆடியிருந்தார் நான் பெற்ற செல்வம் படத்தில்)

இங்கு உள்ள படித்த ,வேலை பார்க்கும் அனைவருக்கும் Transaction Analysis பரிச்சயம் ஆகியிருக்கலாம். இதில் ego stage என்பதை parent -Exterro Psyche(dos and donts )-adult-Neo Psyche(reality and practical ) -child-Archaeo Psyche (wishes&needs , Tandrum,illogical )என்ற நிலைகளிலேயே நம் அத்தனை நடைமுறை செயல்பாடுகள்,உரையாடல்கள் மற்றோருடன் நடை பெறுகின்றன.

உதாரணம்- கணவன் அலுவலகம் கிளம்புகிறான். மனைவி வழியனுப்புகிறாள். தொடருங்கள்.

"இதோ பாரு ,நான் வீட்டை விட்டு கிளம்பறேன். நல்லா பூட்டிக்கோ.பத்திரம்".(parent ).
ஆமா பெரிசா வாங்கி போட்டிருக்கீங்க யாராவது திருடிட்டு போக. திருடன் வந்தாலும் அவன்தான் எதையாவது விட்டுட்டு போகணும்.(child ).
இப்போ நான் என்ன சொல்லிட்டேன்.நீ பத்திரமா இருக்கணும்னுதானே சொன்னேன் செல்லம்.(adult ).
ஆமா.பத்திரமா இருக்கேன். என் கிட்டே என்னை தவிர வேறென்ன இருக்கு.பாதுகாக்க. ஒரு நகையா நட்டா(child ).
சரி.office கிளம்பும் போது மூட் அவுட் பண்ணாதே. வாயை மூடறியா (Parent )
சரி.சரி.என்னை அதட்டுங்கள். உங்க promotion பிரச்சினை என்னாச்சு?(adult ).
அது இன்னும் முடியாத கதை.வேணு எனக்கு supervisor ஆக இருக்கும் வரை எனக்கு கிடைச்ச மாரிதான்.(child ).
ஆமா .உங்க வீரம் வீட்டிலேதான்.(child ).
ஆமா உன் கிட்ட காட்டாம யாரிட்ட காட்டுரதான்.இது போன தீபாவளிக்கு வாங்கினதுதானே.(adult ).
ஆமா.நல்லி போயிருந்தமே?அப்படியே சீதா வளைகாப்புக்கும் போனோமே?(adult ).
ஞாபகம் இருக்கு. இந்த கலர் உனக்கு பொருத்தம்.(Adult ).
சரி.தலை கொஞ்சம் சரியா வாரலை போலருக்கே. சீப்பு கொண்டு வரேன்.(adult ).

இதில் சில அனுசரணையானது(Adult -Adult ). சில முரணானது.(crossed Transaction.adult -child ,adult -parent )சில ஒப்பு கொள்ள கூடியது.(parent -child )

நம் வாழ்வில் தற்காலிக-நிரந்தர வெற்றிகள் ,இதனை நாம் பயன் படுத்தும் விதமே.ஆனால் இவைதான் வாழ்வையும் ,கலையையும் சுவாரஸ்யமாக்குகின்றன.இனி திருவிளையாடலுக்கு மீண்டு வருவோம்.

Hope RKS with his multifaceted latent talents can take our threads now and in future to dizzy heights infusing paradigm shifts in order to glorify the legacy of our beloved NT. But I never expected that a versatile and balanced person like RKS also can talk in a dejected tone! We are all with you RKS. These 'ego clashes' are only passing clouds! But such trivial virtual 'clashes' now and then help wake us up from occasional 'sleeps' and keep the threads alive and active!!! All pessimistic paper arrows can be transformed into optimistic building blocks if you are shrewd with a presence of mind, which you have now!!

I know you will emerge out like a Godzilla from its gestation period and enthrall us with your incessant array of postings compensating for these few days of your prominent absence! At least... to save the fellow hubbers from my tentative gap filling 'achchachcho ennaachchu?!' postings!! (Gopal Sir smiles..... for his right prediction on my write-ups!)

Am also dejected. However, I set aside those things and keep coming back - of course, not often, due to official exigencies.

Request you to continue contribute.

And, request to all the hubbers who have not been coming here now, to set aside differences and converge here - with a single motto - to glorify NT's prowess and deeds and take it to Gen Y and future.

Great that you've started writing on "Thiruvilaiyadal".

In fact, as informed you over phone, I've helped a trainer to conceive and present on "transactional analysis" - Aggressiveness (Lord Siva - NT); Submissiveness (Tharumi - Nagesh) and Assertiveness (Poet Nakkeerar - APN). Glad to note that you've presented in a detailed way.

This is what is the genius of NT - one Actor who always crossed boundaries when it comes to performance - who always tried different things unmindful of success but; confident of success, and he succeeded too in a big way - who always was ahead of his times.
