Actually the lead pair is Raghuvaran & Ranjani. The song came in the background ;)

kadal alai and 'amutha mazhai' was very much popular, every tea kadai was playing these songs regularly. another popular song at that time was 'raasaathi ennai' from 'raasaathi kalyaaNam'.

As per someone!!, TLT has lost shurthi through out the song.
This song still has place in every wedding ceremony!

Ramki: is Laliha sagari anyway related to TL's family? I vaguely remember one dute by TLT and LS. Not sure though :-)

TLT has a better voice than his brothers but singing style and flexibility are so so :-(

IS kadal alai by PJ, which u are refering to, same as 'kadal alai kaalgalai muththamidum pudhu kalai' ??

Have not heard this song Ramki.
It appears that all sons had a tinge (or is it trying to imitate) of their father's voice .
