i still dont understand what is unanimous here - there would be atleast 2-3 people who have choice other than tendulkar for opener slot....

all questions directed at selection process neednt be taken personally because they are not intented to be so......

I think this is fine.

But 2 spinners required Plumji? Sanath, Sachin, (most proly) AD Silva and if not Hooper are already there.

2 allrounder or 3 fast bowler will be fine :P

Fair enough.

So, what do we want to finalise - One spinner Plus 2 all rounders Plus 2 Pacers/Medium Pacers or One spinner Plus 3 Medium Pacers/Pacers plus one allrounder?

Sachin was selected without any poll because you know Sachin's fan strength in this forum and the poll would be a waste of time for all. What is the purpose when the result of poll is something like 25 for Sachin : 2?
