Rumor mills are working over time that the title is 'Thanga Magan'. Should be a good title, if they manage to confirm it.
Thangamagan... seems not bad ; another T film after thirupaachi ,thirumalai and thuppakki , hope this T factor success will continue.

விஜய் சினிமாவுக்கு வந்து 20 ஆண்டுகள் ஆகிறது. 1999-ல் ‘நாளைய தீர்ப்பு’ படத்தில் அறிமுகமானார். கடைசியாக ‘துப்பாக்கி’ படம் தீபாவளிக்கு ரிலீசாகி வெற்றிகரமாக ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
அடுத்து அவர் நடிக்கும் புதிய படத்தை ஏ.எல்.விஜய் இயக்குகிறார். இவர் ‘மதராச பட்டனம்’, ‘தெய்வத்திருமகள்’ படங்களை இயக்கியவர். இப்படத்தில் விஜய்க்கு ஜோடியாக அமலாபால் நடிக்கிறார். இதன் படப்பிடிப்பு மும்பையில் துவங்கியுள்ளது.
இந்த படத்துக்கு என்ன தலைப்பு வைக்கலாம் என்று இயக்குனர் யோசித்து வந்தார். விஜய் சினிமாவில் அறிமுகமாகி 20 ஆண்டுகள் ஆவதால் ரசிகர்களுக்கு பிடித்த மாதிரி தலைப்பு இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று படக்குழுவினர் தீர்மானமாக இருந்தனர். இதற்காக பல பெயர்கள் பரிசீலிக்கப்பட்டன. எதுவும் பிடிக்கவில்லை. ‘தலைவன்’ என்ற பெயரையும் பரிசீலித்தார்கள். அதுவும் கைவிடப்பட்டது.
இறுதியில் ‘தங்க பையன்’ என்று குறிப்பிடும் வகையில் ‘தங்க மகன்’ என்ற தலைப்பை தேர்வு செய்துள்ளார்கள். ‘தங்க மகன்’ ரஜினி நடித்த படத்தின் தலைப்பு என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Thangamagan sounds very old style, IMO the project needs a more trendy and youthful title. I was mixing this title up with another os Sarathkumars movie with Nayanthara when I read the title first...

No. This is not the title.
Vijay and AL Vijay are presently in Mumbai in shooting for their upcoming project. The team fixed Mumbai as shooting spot because handling crowd for a Vijay film in Tamilnadu is a tedious process. But on the contrary AL Vijay witnessed a huge crowd in the shooting spot and he is finding it very difficult to control the crowd. It is said that Vijay's recent release Thuppakki was a big hit in Mumbai and Mumbai was easily recognizing the Thuppakki actor. Being a fast worker AL Vijay is finding it difficult to shoot at his usual pace.

We had reported earlier that the second schedule of Vijay’s untitled film with director Vijay is set to begin this month. Art director Nagaraj is currently painstakingly recreating the Mahim area in Mumbai along with 500 carpenters, day and night.
Vijay, Amala Paul, Sathyaraj, Ponvannan and more than 1000 junior artistes are set to participate in this schedule which would happen at the Mahim set.
All signs point to a mega budget commercial entertainer. The stakes are high for Vijay after the back to back successes of Kaavalan, Velayudham, Nanban and Thuppakki. Vijay would be looking to extend his success run with director Vijay as well.
