Possible, but doesn't make sense. The focus for Deepavali should be on Arrambam and Veeram should have it's own time :)
Perhaps, Dec 1 week should be the right time to release Veeram teaser/trailer

AJITH'S VEERAM - CLASH BETWEEN FAMILIES ?
Ajith is busy with his Veeram shoot and the latest
we hear is that the film is said to be a story based
on clashes between two families in the village.
Ajith plays a elder brother of the family whereas
Pradeep Rawat is said to be playing the villain
role from the opposite family. The team has also
shot an edge of the seat action scene in Orissa-
Andhra border railway track.
The team is also shooting in Kerala,Pollachi locations now. Director Siva working
round the clock to finish the project on time, so that they can release the film for Pongal
2014.
Veeram has Ajith,Tamannaah,Viddharth,Santhanam and many to its star cast. The film
has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
