Yesterday Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay has watched a special show of Chimbu Devan's Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum. After watching the show, the actor has appreciated the entire cast and crew for making a good film.
Interestingly in one of the scenes of Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum, Arulnidhi will bamboozle that he is Vijay's manager, while Bindhu Madhavi is Vijay's stylist and Bhagavathi Perumal is Vijay's astrologer.
It has to be noted that Vijay's next film after Kaththi will be directed by Chimbu Devan.

A R Murugadosss’s Thuppakki was a well made film that dealt about sleeper cells where Ilayathalapathy Vijay played the role of an army captain with elan. Although Vidyut Jamwal was the main antagonist, there were also other bad men in the film, the notable among them is Gautam Kurup who played one of the sleeper cells.
This Chennai born, Delhi based Malayalam actor has acted with the likes of Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan in films like Kandahar and Salaam Kashmir.
Although he has worked in many films, he recalls with fondness his Thuppakki days with Vijay. Gautam says,“The scene when Vijay chops my fingers in the film was a long one and Vijay was very supportive of me. He helped get the best from me. I can never forget those days”.
Gautam Kurup has also worked in Pudhiya Thiruppangal.

It is known that Vishal is a big fan of Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay and the actor has always said in his interviews, Vishal has also said that whenever he gets a script idea he will be thinking of Vijay first.
Now the latest is that Vishal has said that " Today Vijay is a big star but once a magazine wrote " Why one should pay and see Vijay's face on screen", Vishal added " Vijay replied to all those criticisms through his movies and silence which is a great inspiration for me". Today many are speaking about how they are handling such negative criticisms but long back Vijay successfully managed such criticisms and now he has reached a great status.

It's a No for Rajini and Kamal, but a Yes for Vijay
One of India's most respected actresses, Sridevi, made her big comeback to Bollywood in 2012 with English Vinglish, a much-loved and highly successful movie which continues to rule the roost till date in some international markets. To cash in on her popularity in Tamil and Telugu, English Vinglish was also dubbed in these languages and met with a decent response down South too.
Sridevi was all along approached for films in Tamil, opposite the likes of even Rajini and Kamal but she didn't accept them for some reason. Now, we have come to know that she has been floored by director Chimbudeven's script for the upcoming Ilayathalapathy Vijay film, which will go on floors sometime in August this year. Sridevi is reported to have accepted to work in this film, which is supposed to have a fantasy base.
We had earlier reported that Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is also likely to be roped in for this film, along with ace composer A.R.Rahman. To add more weight to this already heavyweight team, Shruti Haasan is also touted to be in the running for a possible role but her involvement in the film can be ascertained only after a few more days' time.
If all this news about the casting is true, this will become a mega project. I read somewhere that Sudeep also might play the villain. I hope this does turn out to be true. Let's hope the official confirmation comes out soon. Cheers!!
