Thumbs down to the Ponmagal Vandhaal remix, but the other songs are very good! Even better than Godfather IMO.
Ellapughazhum has the standard beat that ARR often uses but the guitars, strings, clapping, etc. elevate the song. Of course, it has an awesome tune.
kELAmal is the winner hands down. Probably the only experimentation in this album. vaLayapatti and maduraikku pOgAthadi (esp the asaruthu asaruthu) sound so good. Marilyn monroe is typical ARR. But definitely its the best vijay album in a long time. Perhaps after kAdhalukku mariyAthai. Two thumbs up!!
And talking about ARR's intros, anbE aaruyiE is still the number 1.
ATM songs are very catchy,
IMO Ellapughalum, Ponmagal, Kelamal songs are best.
