It was Vijay's show all the way in Hyderabad on Monday night, as the 'Ilaya Thalapathy' of Tamil cinema spoke in Telugu and wowed the audience at the audio launch of the Telugu version of 'Thuppakki'.
The Telugu version too has been titled 'Thuppakki' and it will be released simultaneously along with the Tamil original, on Deepavali day.
Amid thunderous applause from the audience, Vijay was invited on stage and the actor delivered his address n Telugu. "Shankar introduced me to Andhra Pradesh with Snehitudu (Nanban). Now A R Murugadoss is making me more familiar with Thuppakki', he said.
Expecting the movie to do well in Tollywood, Vijay said the encouragement from the audience made feel like as if was attending an audio launch function n Chennai. Vijay also sang a song on the occasion. Murugadoss and Kajal Agarwal also spoke.
THUPPAKKI Has been Certified with U/A by the Censor Board.. So its the Pure Mass(Fans) + Class(Family) Treat this Diwali..

Thuppakki gets U/A from the censors. ARM wants 'U' certificate and hence will go for few minor cuts. Expected to go for resubmission tomorrow.

Theater owners indefinite strike started today in Kerala. All the A class theaters are participating in the strike. Almost 350 out of 500 theaters in Kerala shutdown from today. What the federation is sayin that they want to increase service charge from Rs.2 to 7 and all...
but many sayin there is hidden agenda behind this strike..thats is to release Thuppaki in max no of theaters..
They want to release Thuppakki in 130 + theaters in kerala and thats why this strike..thats gonna be the biggest ever release for a tamil movie in kerala..
2 malayalm films which were to release today has been postponed and some malayalm films which is doing goign well has been affected..
rumours are floating saying that strike will be called of mid next week to ensure Thuppakki releases..
