I think that the Malaysian Amputee name is "Anjal petti" Muthiah as he got introduced in Debut Film of T.N.balu featuring Nadigarthilagam-Sarojadevi Combo.(pathu pathinaru mutham mutham is a cute chemistry of this pair after slimming down)

Just this afternoon I happen to watch 'Raja Chinna Roja' on the satellite tv which prompted me to pen the following thoughts.
If I am not mistaken this was the second film of AVM banners which Ravichandran acted. What a shame to see him act in a fatherly role. By all standards he still looked the same dashing young man of the early seventies and to pit him in such secondary role? Of course, he was already into fatherly roles preceding 'Raja Chinna Roja' often portraying the villainous type. But in 'Raja Chinna Roja' he looked youthful -that is if his grey wig is overlooked. Throughout this movie, he exhibited his past mannerisms, albeit in a toned-down mode. The smoking, walking, scotch drinking, pointing - were still evident despite the age (mid forties) elderly role he was assigned to play.
What was unique about this film was (besides the animated song) that the protagonists, Rajnikanth, Ravichandran and Raghuvaran are known for their respective distinctive styles and mannerisms were at their best. I am not sure whether this trio ( incidentally all bearing the initial 'R') appeared together in other films.
That reminds me of a piece which I read in a Rajnikanth's interview sometime ago. Rajnikanth said that he was a great fan of Ravichandran and was a member of his fan club in Bangalore. He also said that he emulated the cigarette-smoking style from Ravichandran. That is indeed an ovation for the late Ravichandran. But to realize that both Ravichandran and Raghuvaran are no more with us is a hard reality to swallow.
Maybe for the first time on internet.
Super choreography and performance song in Meendum Vazhven.
