Thambikku entha ooru first hour. What a fun film! Right from the long monologue while packing stuff for the assignment (he packs his childhood trophies etc :lol: ) till the end of the first hour, super fun it was.
In the monologue - ulagaththa therinjikkanumaam - junnel-a thoRanthuvittaa therinjidappOvudhu..
Looking at that manajppai offered by the father to take with him - idhu ungappaa ungaLukku vittuttuppOnadhaa :lol:
First scene at the village, annoyed at the responses to his earnest(!) queries, hits a perisu with the manjappai. The very definition of the *naturally* funny Rajini. Some more samples, not highlighting the oft-quoted ones:

Rajini: paravaillai irukkattum :lol: :lol:
Smells the thengaa naar and pukes almost

i am even wondering if this one is better in timing jokes and casual wits... when compared to thillumullu which he does most of comedy with a serious face...
rendum dibarant. He is more comfortable in TEU/Padikkathavan types. That is why pulling off a Thillu Mullu is no mean achievement. Verstail :clap:

but i remember one in veera, when he shouts at roja and janagaraj for asking a guest to strip for verifying a tattoo... after which he angryla walk towards the camera and gives a face reaction... andha maadhiriyaa..
another twist:
rajini challenges his dad with so much hightone and veeraappu after which he walks away and the scene cut... the scene looked very serious...
total twist in the next scene... he polambufies/cries 'veetta vittu poganumaam... ayyayyoo... ozhaikkanumaam...'

Of course, the comedy slows down after the brush with Madhavi, but never boring in any part that has Rajini in it.
