Let me put my understanding on Kalaaba Kaathalaa.
Kalaabam means Peacock feather. That is Mayil Iragu(Thogai).
We know how much beautiful peacock feather is.
So the meaning should be..
Mayiliragai(Thogai) Poala azhagu konda kaadhalanae..
That sentence is well suited for a male beacause,
Normally Male peacock's feather are more beautiful than female's..
