Well its long time since i placed my comments on this forum...I hope Mr.Shankar rememers be and my critical comments.

And put you things very straight, iam so elated now. But iam not happy. Dear Shankar please ask Raaja Sir to release Symphony No.1.

Ennai thrippthi paduthavey mudiyathu, being up grown up with his song, i need more....innum neraya venum.....

But i shall reserve my thots/comments for a post hearing reply.

Any way thanks to all, who have toiled day and night, to Bring out TiS.

The function was a granddddd success !!!!

Dear All,

I am at Mumbai and could not attend the function, though I loved to.
My cousin is attending. I got a call from him some time back, all
excited. He said, "They played a piece for some time, it was
amazing...". He also said that Rajinikanth was present in the
function (recall his interview in Vikatan where he said he may not
be present for Maestro's function at Chennai). He said Kamal Hassan
made one of his best speeches on stage. My cousin says the hall is
packed to the hilt.

I also had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Vijay a couple of times,
albeit for a few seconds amidst his organising pressure today. He
had said (around 5 PM) that the crowd outside the hall was
unmanagable and things were too tight.

I feel (and am sure all of us will feel so) relieved at the kind of
response this project has generated. This is THE moment of truth and
triumph for all of us, who have thought about this project for the
last couple of years or more. Though a good response was expected
(99%), the 1% fear was always there - after all, geniuses getting
under-recognised is not new in our society. But this function has
boosted up our faith to great heights.

Thanks a Lot Raaja !!! Thanks to Dr.Vijay and all in the group !!!

We expect more reports from the fortunate members who attended and
the more fortunate who volunteered.

TISK, TIS-USA team and others involved at the organizational level, Congrats on the successful accomplishment of this mission! Amidst several hurdles and hardships you have persevered. I hope that those of you who have outstanding loans would soon have them cleared and that TIS would be one of the biggest success stories in the music world spawning more such ventures.

CONGRATS once again to the entire TIS team on this memorable achievement! Its indeed a great feat! I saw a glimpse of the program in Headlines ('H') TV. Hopefully some tamil TV channel will broadcast the entire programme soon.
