Cosmo films inks 7.5cr deal for yennai arindhaal
Ajith Kumar’s Yennai Arindhaal has been keeping things high on invigorations from the moment it went on floors. With just less than a week left for the big bang release to happen, there is exciting news from the trade circle that Cosmo Films has acquired the Coimbatore rights of Yennai Arindhaal, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon for a fancy price of 7.5Crores. Moreover, the same banner had clasped the big deal for Ajith Kumar’s previous release Arrambam, which was again produced by AM Rathnam for a tremendous tag of 6.9Crores. The film has been applied for censor now and it is heard that the uncensored version has a running length of 2hrs 32mins. Yennai Arindhaal has an ensemble star-cast of Trisha, Anushka Shetty, Arun Vijay, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vivekh, Parvathy Nair and many others.

Yennai Arindhal fever is slowly building up across the world, the international rights for the movie are already making business. Thala Ajith’s celebrity status is one of the main reasons without a doubt. The movie has gone for censorship and the status is soon to be revealed.
The movie has Ajith, Trisha, Anushka in the lead with Gautam Menon’s direction. The Producers are looking to release the movie in as much as theatres possible across the world. Apart from the usual target regions of US, UK, Malaysia, Australia, this time Yennai Arindhal will be seen in around 30 theatres across France. This is a record number for an Ajith movie indeed.
Rajinikanth’s Lingaa was the only Tamil film which was aired across 53 screens and now Yennai Arindhal will be the next film in 30 screens. Close on the heels are Vijay’s Kaththi and Shankar’s “I” at 24 screens.
