actually SOK was a beautiful movie in my opinion though irritatingly slow......also, it was so out of place with tamil audience who want raw movies nowadays........ :cry:

and surya's action was very good in SOK....... :D

except for the picturisation of songs it was a very excellent movie.........its' just dat ppl were not ready to accept da movie as the concept changed a little.......... SOK was 100 times better dan many of surya's old movies

So u are saying if Madavan played Surya's role in JOK it would have been a hit? :roll: I think the main reason for it's flop was the climax the director chose was far too safe IMHO.The 1st 10 min was completely unnecssarry the village part.The movie could have started straight away from the mumbai.The separate comedy tracks involving vadivelu was not necssarry in a romantic movie like this.I don't know when this directors are going to change adding separate comedy tracks just for the plain sake of adding it

its a decent movie...the climax is also good...tamil cinema audiece :banghead:

The audience cannot be blamed for SOK's flop. Surya just is not good enough for romantic roles. Also, the story lacked plausibility at several places & the pace was slow.

We were talking about heros suited for romance and all I meant was that I liked SOK and realize that it's lack of success is not Surya's fault. But Maddy asked me who I would rank above Surya in the romance department and I said Madhavan. Let's stop the dig :evil:
