Vijay's 'Jilla' pooja on 11th March
Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer 'Jilla' pooja is all set to be held on March 11th (Monday). Produced by veteran producer RB Chowdhary under his Supergood Films banner, the film will feature Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal apart from Kajal Aggarwal who will be reuniting with Vijay after Thuppakki.
Debutant director Nesan would be directing Jilla which is said to be an out and out mass masala entertainer with D Imman scoring the tunes, while Santhanam and Nassar are said to be doing supporting roles while Lakshmi Rai is also part of the cast. Imman has already began work on the songs and seems to have roped in Madhan Karky to write lyrics for the film.

Looks like Thalaivaa will be the only release for Vijay in 2013. Jilla for Pongal '14.

Vijay's latest choice
Want to know who is latest choice to play the comedian in his films? Well, it is none other than Parotta Suri. He had teamed up with Vijay in Velayudham and performed well in that film. Judging his talents in other films such as Naan Mahaan Alla, Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu and Azhagar Samiyin Kuthirai, Vijay is keen on having him on-board for his future projects as well.
Sources say that for Jilla, Vijay wanted Parotta Suri to play the main comedian. He has instructed the filmmakers to get this comedian as he has all the talents to shine. Parotta Suri is extremely pleased with Vijay’s recommendation and is gearing up to share the screen space with the Ilayathalapathy.
