My aunt used to ask me now its fine....... when u get married u need to tie saree........
I got married to a guy WHO SAID " I AM FINE WITH U NOT WEARING SAREES"
I made my mother in law say....... "its fine not to wear sarees" :D
If i go to my parents place MY MOM would love to see me in saree, so for her sake I would wear one day.
Then aunt used to say "what u become 30 plus...... u need to switch to saree"
I have not.
Now ppl ask........ after 40........ 50...... wont u wear saree?
I still say.............. "I WILL NOT"
I am comfortable with what I wear. I AM NEVER EVER comfortable with sarees.
so...... guess even if i would die at 60 or 70 I would die wearing suits....... never sarees  :|
Haven't seen anyone on whom Saree doesn't look good (or at least worse than other type of clothes). Something quaintly attractive about it. Traditional silk is quite overrated. IMO the soft feel sarees look really good (I don't know what material they actually are.... to use a carpentry term: they have a very smooth finish)
good . keep it up
PR
chiffons, are the trend now.
its soft and elegant too.
swathy,
