Jodi No. 1 - season 2!!!!!

From my limited knowledge from two odd episodes.

Why does Simbu taunt everyone (Apart from the jury)? His behaviour is very naive at times, even with the compere, or with the contestants. His ways of expressing with his body language is often boorish and unrefined. Isn't there an etiquette and an air of diplomacy to follow? Especially using the medium for giving out propagandist innuendoes to the effect of assuming there is a large group out there who 'hates' his presence in the show, isn't this laughable? Doesn't he understand that this very quality is 'repugnant'. Hyperbolic pretensions this lad has! Isn't that a demeaning quality? Shouldn't he understand the basic quality of avoiding 'cinematic' over-the-top elements in a reality show?

Of course, this is a guy who is indifferent to Simbu, but I don't believe that people like this 'attitude'. Yes, I didn't follow the whole show...

That's because the way he was behaving with his Jodi Uma right from the beginning. Funny part is Uma got mad with Prithvi at one point when he was arguing with Simbu and started shouting at him asking whether he wants her to leave. When Prithvi said Uma "let's quit" - Uma immediately responded saying "no i want to dance" :lol: IvangaLE stage-la otthumaiyA pEsala, adhaan periya vEdikkai :lol:

Why should Simbhu has to do 'katta panchayat' with Prithivi? He does it with every other contestant as if he is the authority. Yes, he did make it up by calling the jodis as his 'pillaigal', I heard that Uma quite rightly called SImbu a 'chinna payyalE'. :clap:

Have you noticed how he posed when giving lectures ? Holding one hand up right on table and other hand as usual with his 'Viral Viththai' ..and always says "Naan onne onnu sollikka virumpuRen" :huh:

His body language is flawed to say the least. Simbu should attend a crash course in Pune...

I dont get what you exactly mean or feel. But when mentioning the positives he really becomes serious and praises generously and talks extemely in a motivating manner. Even on that day he said "Uma Riaz - chance-E illa" with a serious and genuine tone and when announcing the award for best performer he said "you definitely deserve this award". Other two judges dont praise to this extent. As Simbu said "nalla irukkunnu sollumpOthu santhOshamA Ethukureenga but saryillEnnu sonnA mattum yEn-nu kEkkureenga" . In that particular episode the way he tried to express how good Tinku-Preethi and Irfan-Monisha, was very interesting and different. He takes that extra effort to show how well the participants have performed. I think most of us are not matue enough to accept both the positives and negatives equally.

PS: The Judges in the same program conducted on Star Plus with Hindi TV artists are way to harsh (Malaika and some other guy). Once they gave 0 points to a jodi and Malaika told a contestant who showed over confidence to follow a crash course on humility before attending such competitions. But the contestants are taking it positively without getting emotional and upset about it.

Ya.. it looked like a planned angle.. i think they want to attract more viewers or rise the ratings.. normally wwe does this kind of edgier angles to attract more fans.. :lol:
