Why big teams like CSK are not giving enough opportunities to Indian youngsters frequently, especially in the batting line up? Raina, Badrinath, Jadeja, Vijay alright but why not others in the top 5? No exploration of talents at all. I guess this is happening for the past 4 years. I remember Anirudha played once or twice. I expect Aparjith gets chance to bat.
Thats because CSK has good and performing Indian stars in their lineup..they are not a tem who make many changes..this is the most settled side in the IPL.. and most importantly they dont get qualified to the semis in the earlier part of the tournament to experiment :|
Winning is all that matters in IPL..sadly..
Sridhar,
Teams like CSK have pressure to perform every day. Take CSK for example. They've qualified for the semis/playoffs all seasons and they would not want to unsettle a proven side.
Huss/Vijay/Raina/Badri/MS/DJB and Albie all have played match winning innings for CSK over the years. People like Baba and Vijay Shankar are in the team to get a feel of big stage. During next year's auction, we may lose some players and these new guys will be handy then.
Thambi Ajay- Rombha optimistic :-) I'll reserve my judgement until CSK posts or chases 180+ scores. I shouldn't conclude by just 1 innings, andha MI match-la Raina out aana vidham kaNNulayE nikkudhu. Raina's good form is a must for us to win, hope he comes good.
More often than not CSK has successfully chased big totals or at least have made a match out of it. I hardly remember any meek surrenders. And on the accusation of slow starts, naamalavadhu bell illamathan varrom. Pinnadi oruthan cycle'eh illama varraan (MI)
To hell with cricket :)

i expect MI to do well this time as DK, pollard and rohit hav already come to form... middle order problem solved...
if they could start firing in the top order, they ll be unbeatable...
worrying part is their bowling at the moment...
RCB VS KKR.....such a hard match to choose who should win
Both should lose
KKR's dabba is dancing
Kohli out aagitaan.
"Kohli is cross about something, now he and Gambhir walk angrily towards each other, reminiscing their days together in Delhi, another Delhi man, Bhatia intervenes and pats Kohli on the back to send him on his way"
'another 80 runs with 8 wickets and 10.3 overs remaining'
Should be easily Manageable... :)
couple of wickets match will be changed ... anyway i want KKR to lose ..
InikkE adikka vendiyadha ellam adichukkOppa Gayle....next match Chennai-la...samaththa vandhadhum out aayidu
Going by cricinfo stats Balaji is very impressive ...
Appa KKR thothuruchu aana RCB jeyichiruchae :( ... Next match kamaan RR halla bol ... make it 3 out of 3 ...
Vinod, Dravid enna ODI vilayadraaru? :)

Great finish by Yuvraj!!!
Pune is one of my favorites as it has some of my favorite cricketers Yuvi, Robin and Ross.....I would really like to see Yuvraj having a good tournament as he is due for one in IPL :)
Softy,
Same doubt. CSK match nadakkumbodhellam kaanama poidaraar. Kovilla ukkandhuruppaarnu nenaikkiren. :)
Pirichi menjitaangalae .
The other day enemies became friends and yesterday it was exactly the opposite. Welcome to IPL. :)
Steyn to Jayawardene, no run, superb delivery. That's a Test-match delivery, but not quite Test-much keeping from Parthiv Patel. Perhaps he is not used to this kind of swing. Steyn bowls a perfect outswinger, Jaywardene pushes at the length, gets a solid edge to Parthiv's right, but he seems to have followed the angle and his weight is towards leg before he changes direction and dives wide of off. He gets a hand to this but the catch doesn't stick
