I saw yesterday Kaviya thalaivi. For a hindustani style dance by Sowcar janaki, S. Varalakshmi sings. She sings in her own voice the jathi's. But PS gives her voice for the song (Kaaviya thalaiviiiiiiiiiiiii). PS for SV... strange you know !!

SV sings jathi etc and sowkar sings the song(voice PS)

I saw recently the titles of old film Ganga. Jaisankar and Rajgokila. In that film, only LR Eswari is the singer. No other male or female singers.

LRE as Only one singer in a film is very unique.

In movie "Navagraha Nayagi", Seegazhi Govindarajan sings for Pandiyan (Navagraha Nayagiye karumaari). This is OOKK :-)

In Mannippu movie, A.P Komala and Suseela sing "kuyilosaiyai vellum" song for Lakshmi and Nirmala respectively.

A.P Komala for Lakshmi is OOKK, right?

S.V.Ponnuswamy (humming) for Ravichadran is another example for OOKK. Song "Kadalan vandhAn.."sung by PS & SVP for JJ and RC in Moondrezhuthu.

Today I saw the titles of an Unheard film (by myself) called Aandavan Soththu. Jaisankar (special appearence) along with Madhavi as Heroine. Directed by Karnan. MD: Sankar-Ganesh, who also acted in the movie.

In that film, Vani Jairam is the only singer. No other male or female singers. VJ as Only one singer in a film is OOKK.

Yesterday I saw Thirumbi Paarkirean Programme (Kind of Malarum Ninaivugal) in Jaya TV. Movie/Drama actress M.Banumathi shared her ninaivugal.

In that episode, they showed a song Kalyanam oru vizha (TMS Starts).......Pon Maalai Kungumam (SR continues). Acted by M.Banumathi with Late Sasikumar. For Sasikumar, TMS had sung.

I think TMS singing for Sasikumar is an OOKK.

S.Janaki has sung a Mayil Dance Song for Kum.Kamala in Sumai thangi. The dance comes as part of a stage programme. This is OOKK??

yeah.. its a stage performance of Kamala. The part of the song goes like "vaanulagam deiva sugam. maNNulagam mangai sugam". It consists of different types of stanzas ( in thalam etc,) I think.
