Times of India : The latest buzz in the industry is that director Jayam Raja will start his next venture with Vijay, and that he will be working on the Tamil remake ofthe Hindi hit, Ek Tha Tiger. It was reported recently that Editor Mohan has purchased theremake rights of this Salman Khan-starrer, and has asked his son, Raja, to helm it.
However, a surprised Raja tells us, "Neither has my father got the remake rights nor am I directing Vijay in it. I'm currently in talks with Akshay Kumar for a possible Hindi film, which will be produced by a popular Bollywood director. That apart, I'm also working on a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. At this juncture, I'm unsure which one will take off first."
But, Raja does not rule out the possibility of working with Vijayagain. He adds, "We have a great understanding and our line of thought is quite similar. After our last venture together, we have stayed in touch and have decided to work together again soon. This project is most likely to be launched by the end of next year."
It is good that Vijay will not be acting in remake of ETT...

There has been a rumour roaming around the city that Jayam Raja will be doing the remake of Ek Tha Tiger, with Vijay in the lead. But the maker has dusted off these reports as baseless stories. There were even reports that he will be making the remake of Ramana in Hindi, which he has laughed at.
Now, we hear that he is working on his first original script. AGS Entertainment, who is producing KV Anand’s Maattrraan with Suriya in the lead, has come forward to produce the film. The director will probably start the film by the end of this year or early 2013.

Vijay - A.L.Vijay project to start in October :
Director AL Vijay has completed 'Thaandavam' and is eagerly waiting for the film's release, on September 28. While actor Vijay is on the verge of finishing off 'Thupakki' with A R Murugadoss.
Starting second week of October, the two are expected to kickstart their already announced project, which is touted as a complete commercial entertainer.
Remember director Vijay is known for trying his hands at various genres. After a family flick in 'Kireedam', comedy entertainer in 'Poi Solla Porom', love saga in 'Madrasapattinam' and emotional story in 'Deiva Thirumagal', he has come out with an action adventure in 'Thaandavam'.
Now he is said to have penned a '100 per cent commercial script' having Vijay and his fans in mind . G V Prakash Kumar will compose the music, while a hunt is on for the heroine.

Vijay’s dad and director SA Chandrasekar, during the audio launch of Madhil Mel Poonai, said that Vijay is not handsome.
