Cranston appeared for a min or so in detachment. Don't really understand why he accepts these type of roles!Quote:
e reporter said again that he loved it, and Cranston seemed surprised. "I haven't seen it," he told the assembled press. "I'm surprised to hear that actually." When asked to clarify, he continued, "Because I felt that Carl Lund, the writer of 'Detachment,' wrote a really beautiful, haunting script. And I didn't feel that it was honored."
I'm waiting for his "Argo". Seems Affleck is a fan.
SP,
I have the film's hollywood remake's cd. But yet to watch. Very confusing is what I heard.
Knowing nothing about Christoper Nolan nor Batman, Watched Dark Knight Rises in S2 Cinemas, Liked it a lot . Veetuku vandha vudanae Batman begins and Dark knight download pottuten. Trilogy kandippa paathae aaganumngra feeling vandhuduchu. Becoming a Batman fan :)
Note : Expected lot from S2 cinemas as it is part of sathyam site, but greatly disappointed especially with the seats they provide.
50/50 - 80/100. One of the better films I have seen recently. Great great characters, phenomenal acting and witty dialogues. Loved the way they maintained a lighter tone throughout. Fine film. And Anna Kendrick. She was such a paavam in front of Clooney in 'Up in the air' but what has two years done to her? She was quite charming in this one. And Seth Rogan and his nonchalance. Big fan.
In deed. 50-50 is a quitessential American film.
Huge weakness when doing a Cancer flick. But the emotions were real. Seth Rogen provides a great filter.
Heath lookalike freak's release of all the anger and pain is so real.
Anjelica Huston's mom reminds me of a friend of a friend's fat mop stick lookalike mom.
My idea of 'Screw cancer' is Breaking Bad. But then again you haven't seen the show. :poke:
Breaking Bad is more like screw the American health care system which is the cause of the show(Walt cooking meth).
Could a chest-thumping Yank like Git-clove2 process that information? I'd think not.
S02E12 done...

ajay,
As far as I understood, its the paradox of "what if I killed my own grandfather" ...ie. changing the sequence of your own destiny which may affect atleast 'n' of the 'n number of parrellel universe'
Did anyone try watching "inception".... how did u like it?
Bourne Legacy coming tomorrow. Hope it is as good as the 3 before.
However after a three day search Webb's body is yet to be found.

Finally somebody uploads what I have been looking for ages. Great music
The Bourne Legacy: A good star cast and a good first half. Renner is good, he can always act well and so does Weisz. Kinda have a feeling that the film is incomplete. Could have added some more stunts but looks like they are setting up a start for the franchise.
Yes No where like TBI or S or U. Paul Greengass is missed as a director.
Hope it's back to TBI, Doug Liman, style of action. Not only because Greengrass's epilepsy isn't effective, but because Gilroy's Clayton/Duplicity suggests a fluid sense of visuals, Clayton in particular, is a supremely made thriller.
Oh it is back to TBI, story wise. They are re-booting the events as an aftermath of the Damon-Bourne incidents trying to cover all thier bases, sort of thing.

Batman: Under The Red Hood.
Gosh, for an animation its very violent. Of course, it has PG13 rating, but still. Nevertheless, a very satisfying Batman animation outing. Highly recommended for other Bat-fans.
Gus van sant's psycho. More like a parody of the original. Ridiculous nAansense
For KG and Grouch bhai. DDL

Amazing.
The Wages of Fear   I think Das Boot has some inspiration from this, at least the climax.
Ichi the Killer. wtf i don't even.. Audition was atleast intriguing & watchable (and lame in violence compared to this gorefest). Takashi Mike.. ya.. and people questioned Ruggero Deodato's sanity after 1 movie and Mike has been doing it for years.
deep red is just awesome. one of highest points in giallo genre (blood & black lace tops them all). see, Ms.Asia isn't the only good contribution to the world by Dario Argento.
மொத்தமாக நான்கு படங்கள் இந்த வாரத்தில் கண்டுகளித்தேன்.. மூன்று டிவியில். நோலனுக்காக மட்டும் திரையரங்கில் ஒன்று.
1) Dear John - Simple plot. But impressed with neat screen play, emotions and romance. Father-Son relationship nicely crafted.
2) Pretty Woman - I stopped counting how many times I am watching this movie. Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. Classic.
3) Signs - Admiring the vision of Night Shyamalan. He has the talent to bring the fear on anything without showing the real image. Mel Gibson lived in the courageous character Graham. Loved his cool conversations with kids even during at scary moments.
4) The Dark Night Rises. - As the title implies, Darkness in society shown and the pain from it was acknowledged. A powerful and great film from Nolan. First 6 minutes simply blown away. What a direction. He gives new dimension to Hollywood commercial movies. An opt creation to end Batman's Triology. Spectacular.
Taken 2 is going to release on Oct 5..
Tis time Neeson is going to find his kidnapped wife...:cry2:
Waiting.. Waiting...:)
Anybody seen the campaign ??. Will ferrell/Galifianakis starrer?. Looks decent..
Limitless, quite a decent watch.

The Avengers. Expected it to suck in Marvel-way, but surprisingly a decent flick with Whedon(Firefly) able to bring out the two-way relationship between phantasmagoric enemy standing in for real world 'enemy', and the heroes standing-in for the real world weapons of mass destruction.
It's frightening to note similarities in both Marvel and DC films this year.
