As expected "Tera Bina" kouda nala iruku, thanks to ARR's voice.
I thought "Barso Re" would be better, aarambam nala iruku, but pirahu konjam slow-aa pohuthu... ilaya?
"Mayya mayya"'s begining reminds me "nerupey chikimuki nerupey" from VV... It seems to be an item number but I think this is not the one with Mallika, look at this pic!

It would fit more for "Baazi laga". by the way, intha song konjam kouda pidikala, it just don't sound like a Rahman's one! I won't blame him for that, cuz Mani probably want him to compose such a song to match the periode film!
"Jaage hain" is nice, it reminds me the song "Aazadi" from Bose- the forgotten hero, or an old patriotic song...., ARR's voice add so much emotions! :)
But as Vairamuthu said, "kavithaihalin suvai artham puriyum varai"! lol So let's hope we'll get Guru in tamil. As the name Guru is already used by an old Kamal film, we sould name Guru as "Thalaivan"...?

Hey arsaregama i have a sound blaster too and my 5.1 works for DVDs etc but which software do u use to produce 5.1 with stereo?

But I still think Iruvar was class apart when compared to Guru considering both movies comes under the same league..

GURU will be DUBBED in tamil & telugu.
GURU will retain it's name in telugu. As for tamil, it might change since theres' already a "guru" registered.
