Others were far from their bests, including Ravi. I think Ravi really struggled to sing without having the complete control of the mic :lol: Is it just me or did others think the orchestra was good (read slightly better than the previous rounds) today?

Chinmayi is expected back for future episodes - just hope she doesnt continue to sing falsetto in them. It's getting pretty old pretty fast.

rENu - sothappified at the exact spot I expected. But otherwise well sung. I actually thought she resembled ShrEyA goshal. To use "Sunday (h)indu viLamabaram" parlance - oru maaniRa Shreya Goshal. :) I think voice ellAm too much she doesnt have her polish or Mic control yet.

It is really hard to bring out the sadness in Ennadi Meenatchi except for the vArthai thavarivittAi portions. Tough ask for Ravi.

Doesn't seem logical even if that was the reason. She is a singer and not an actress. And that particular song is related to J'pradha and sung by S Janaki. I think there may be some other reason.

Yeah but the 'Vaarthai thavaRivittAi' part was done pretty badly by Ravi. Starting'E problem aayiduchu so I expected something worse but IMO he did well to some extent. As I said earlier - i liked the endings of the charanams.

And I thought Senthaazhampoovil was a tough task than ennadi meenaatchi.

Mic control is something Renu must really work out. And she still looks nervous.
