Du Plessis has to play. Why did we buy him? Would start for most IPL teams. IS Dhoni too obsessed about opener + off-spinner + All-rounder + fast bowler combination from international quota?

Plessis can play in place of Randiv but that would mean Raina and Duplex bowl in every match. Worth tryoing but Dhoni only drops people when they are utterly irredeemable(except if you are Sreesanth). Anirudha is also staying on the basis of that lucky 50 in the opening match. Unless he screws up badly, he will not be dropped.
Dhoni is right in his strategy. It is better to opt for a quality offspinner than to opt for a "ok" all rounder.
Morkel - opening bowler and does a decent job. Good hitter.
