Murali sir,

Thanks a lot for the live coverage of the events of NT’s Birthday celebrations at Kamaraj Arangam. I think due to shortage of time, the awardees are not allowed to speak. But still I feel , the awrd for mak-up artist Peethambaram is not an opted one, because he was the main make-up man for MGR, when Rengasamay was for NT. ( I hope his son P.Vasu’s ‘thalaiyeedu’ might be there to award his dad. Ok, let us leave it).

But I think still many NT’s close associates are there to be honored. Did director CVR, actress Lakshmi etc. has been given NT awards..?.

When going through the recent few pages, I found there is a 'அறிக்கைப்போர்' started between some of our senior pillars of the hub regarding the ‘Memorial House’ for NT. ( whenever we star to discuss about the leaders congress, automatically fight will start, I hope). But it is not a pleasant thing as per my view.

Even though Raghavendar sir’s post is addressed to Saradha mam, it indirectly points out Chandrasekhar, who is fighting for ‘Manimandapam’ and the news are published in medias.

At the same time Saradha’s post is not pointing to anyone, but worrying about the delays and afraid that memorial house should not be ended with dream, which is also acceptable.

But Raghavendar sir’s point is very clear that it should not be just a ‘manimandapam’ same like of other leaders, but should be an institution to know about NT by the future generation. He also says that we should trust on NT’s sons and to give full support for them.

Let us hope for the best, and wait for the proper time.

சில படங்களை எத்தனை தடவை பார்த்தாலும் சலிக்காது. ரசிப்புத்தன்மை குறையாது. அப்படிப்பட்ட எவர் கிரீன் காவியமான ஆண்டவன் கட்டளை படத்தை வெகு நாட்களுக்கு பிறகு தியேட்டரில் காணும் வாய்ப்பு. நேற்று மாலை நட்ராஜ் அரங்கில் மிகப் பெரிய ரசிகர் கூட்டத்தின் இடையில் அமர்ந்து பார்த்தோம். நமது ரசிகர்கள் வழக்கம் போல் அமர்களப்படுத்தி விட்டனர்.

படத்தின் விமர்சனத்தை இந்த திரியில் நானே எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். ஆகவே மீண்டும் detailed-ஆக போக விரும்பவில்லை. தியேட்டருக்கு உள்ளேயும் வெளியேயும் நடந்த கோலாகலங்களை பார்த்தபோது ஏற்கனவே எனக்கு தோன்றிய எண்ணம் வலுப்பெற்றது. எந்த மொழிப் படமானாலும் action ஹீரோவிற்கு மாஸ் இருக்கும். ஆனால் ஒரு actor -க்கு இவ்வளவு பெரிய மாஸ் இருப்பது நடிகர் திலகத்தை விட்டால் வேறு யாருக்கு இருக்கும்?

படத்தை ரசிக்கும் போது ஒரு சில எண்ணங்கள் மனதில் ஓடின. நடிகர் திலகத்தின் கதாபாத்திரமான புரொபசர் கிருஷ்ணன் உருவாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் விதம், அதை நடிகர் திலகம் உள்வாங்கி திரையில் வெளிப்படுத்தும் முறை, பிரமாதம் என்ற வார்த்தை எல்லாம் சாதாரணம்.

பிரம்மச்சாரியாகவே காலத்தை கழித்து விட நினைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் புரொபசர், தற்செயலாக ஏற்படும் பெண் ஸ்பரிசம், அதை தொடர்ந்து உண்டாகும் சபலங்கள். பூங்காவில் மழையில் நடந்த நிகழ்ச்சியால் தன் நிலை பிறழ்ந்து விடுவேனோ என்ற மனக் குழப்பத்தில் வீட்டிற்கு வரும் புரொபசர் சந்திக்கும் மனப் போராட்டக் காட்சி.

விவேகானந்தரையும் ராமலிங்க அடிகளாரின் அருள் வாக்குகளையும் கொண்டு மீண்டு விடலாம் என நினைக்கும்போது மனம் ஒரு குரங்கு என்று சொல்வதை மெய்ப்பிப்பது போல் கண்ணிலும் முன்னிலும் தோன்றும் தேவிகாவின் உருவம். சுமார் 10 நிமிடங்கள் வரும் இந்த Soliloquy - 10 நிமிடங்கள் கூட வேண்டாம். Can any other actor even think of pulling it off say atleat for a minute or two? Let it be method acting or non method or whatever jargon you want to put. It is simply an outstanding effort. No two ways about it.

படத்தின் highlight - ஆறு மனமே ஆறு பாடல் காட்சி! என்ன ரசிப்பு என்ன ஆரவாரம்! சாதாரணமாக எந்த நடிகனின் ரசிகனும் தன் அபிமான நடிகர் தாடி நீக்கி, மீசை நறுக்கி நேர்த்தியாக உடையணிந்து மிக அழகாக தோற்றமளிக்கும் போது தான் மிக அதிகமாக ரசிப்பார்கள், ஆரவாரம் செய்வார்கள்,கை தட்டுவார்கள். ஆனால் இங்கேயோ தன் அபிமான நடிகன், பரதேசி போல் முடி குறைத்து, முள்ளு முள்ளான தாடி வைத்து, கிழிந்த காவி வேட்டி கட்டி வரும்போதுதான் ரசிகன் உச்சக்கட்ட ஆரவாரத்தையும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறான். தன் நடிப்பின் மூலமாக ரசிகனின் ரசிப்பு தன்மையையும் வளர்த்தவர் நடிகர் திலகம் என்று சொன்னால் அது வேறு யாருக்கும் கிடைக்காத ஒரு பாக்கியம்.

Dear Murali sir,

Thanks for your report on Aandavan Kattalai. My pick ( as for most of us) is the last scene in the song "Aaru maname Aaru" where NT walks casually munching groundnuts and blowing the groundnut skins in his hand with all concentration . Its a Million Dollar performance and im at loss of words and too small to describe this performance.

Hats off to Mellisai Mannar also for providing the excellent ending music that matches with NTs performance and walk.

Murali sir,

It is an unexpected pleasant surprise about your theatre coverage about 'Andavan kattaLai', the second best of PSV pictures, after Alayamani.

No doubt that Professor role was another challenging charector for NT, as walking on the sharp sword, but he won in that challenge. This is the one where 'our' Devika was too hot among the other NT movies. I think her poses in the song 'azhagE vA... arugE vA' are the special ones among her career, especially her close-ups.

It is very special of your watching it in Nataraj Theatre, because that theatre is called as one of the ports of MGR in chennai in recent days.

கார்த்திக் சார் சொன்னது போல் நடராஜ் திரையரங்கில் பெரும்பாலும் எம்.ஜி.ஆர்.அவர்களின் படங்கள் திரையிடப் பட்டாலும் அவ்வப்போது அந்தக் காலங்களில் நடிகர் திலகத்தின் படங்களும் திரையிடப்படும். அவ்வாறு சிலபடங்களை நான் அப்போது பார்த்தும் இருக்கிறேன்.

கடந்த ஞாயிறு அன்று மாலைக் காட்சியில் வழக்கம்போல் அளப்பரைக்குக் குறைவில்லை. ஆரத்தி, வெடிகள், தேங்காய் உடைப்பு என ஒரு குறையுமின்றி சிறப்பாக செய்து விட்டனர் ரசிகர்கள். உள்ளேயும் அதே போல்.

இம்முறை திரையரங்க நிர்வாகம் ரசிகர்களுக்கு முழு ஒத்துழைப்பும் ஆதரவும் கொடுத்தது சிறப்பம்சம். இதற்காக நடராஜ் திரையரங்கத்திற்கு நமது நன்றியும் பாராட்டும் உரித்தாகட்டும்.

மேலும் அத்திரையரங்கில் திரையிடப் படும் படங்களுக்கு முழு ஒத்துழைப்பு தருவதாக நிர்வாகி அவர்கள் கூறினார். அவருக்கு மீண்டும் நன்றி. அவரது ஆதரவு, நம்மைப் போன்றவர்களும் விநியோகஸ்தராக்கி விடும் அளவிற்கு ஊக்கமளிப்பதாக உள்ளது.

ஆண்டவன் கட்டளை படத்திற்கு அன்று ஒரு நாளில் மட்டும் கிட்டத் தட்ட 10லிருந்து 12 அல்லது 13 ஆயிரத்திற்கு மேல் வசூலாகியிருக்கக் கூடும் என்று கூறினார். முதல் நாள் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். நடித்த பாக்தாத் திருடன் படமும் நல்ல வசூலாகியுள்ளதாகவும் அவர் கூறினார்.

நடிகர் திலகத்தின் மேலும் பல படங்களை நடராஜ் திரையரங்கில் நாம் எதிர்பார்க்கலாம்.

Sorry if my post hurted you. My intension is, even a small crack between NT fans, is not an adviceable one. Thatswhy I afraid.

But insisting 'Nadigar Sangam' in this issue will not give any result. Because any action should be done whole heartedly. But eventhough there are NT's close friends like Kamal, Rajini, Vijayakumar, Sivakumar etc (including our Prabhu sir and our hubber Mohan Ram sir) are the members of Nadigar Sangam, there is no any progress in this matter from their part.

As you and our Murali sir said, let us wait for the proper time to materialise the dream and render our support to NT's family for that.

Dear Karthik,
No, don't worry. There is no question of hurting me. Because every body is an NT fan and every body is my friend, irrespective of x or y and every body has his right to express his views. You can always continue to express what you feel without any hesitation. The same way I too don't have any intention to hurt any body.

The only matter that concerns is , the approach to get things done. A cart has different wheels and all of them should go in one direction and each one should co-ordinate the other. If each wheel goes in its own direction, the result ...? That's what I mean.

We are having one desire and ambition ... getting due recognition for NT ... But if every body goes in his own direction like that cart, what would be the result? Instead if every body coordinates and acts together, the end result would definitely be successful.

We have seen many leaders having different persons claiming to be their followers forming different outfits and so on. Let such kinds of guises be done away with in the case of NT.

Let all NT fans come under one roof to show the world the real strength of his fans and followers..

That is my humble wish

Regarding NT's friends and fans in Nadigar Sangam, I hope they would definitely do their best and get the things done.
