Rajinikanth Exits Hospital, Phones Jayalalithaa
Superstar Rajinikanth has been discharged from the hospital in Singapore where he was admitted late last month for respiratory problems. He has spoken to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on the phone to congratulate her on her recent victory in the state elections. He also told her he would return to India soon.
The actor's son-in-law, Dhanush tweeted: "Superstar discharged from hospital. He has recovered completely and taking rest. Soon national award celebrations :) god bless"
His family said the actor is on a vacation and will return to India in July.
Rajinikanth was shooting for the Tamil period film "Rana" on April 29 when he complained of exhaustion. Since then, he has been in and out of different hospitals.
He travelled to Singapore on May 28 where he was admitted to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

After speaking with the honourable chief minister of TN who assured me to do any help for me at any time and my respectable and close friend Kalaignar, i am talking with you people.
Please pardon me for not talking with you earlier. In this scientific world too, a toss is required to determine who is going to play first in a game. Tossing the coin alone is man's work. The winner of the toss is decided by the almighty.
In this game of mine, money, science, medicine and world class doctors are on one side. on the other side,prayers to god, pujas, homams and the other spiritual activities are there and I know these are the main reason for my speedy recovery.
The amount of love that people have on Rajni is clearly shown to the world. The reason behind me recovering so fast, is the love and affection you have on me and the pujas that you performed, considering me as your brother, friend and a son of your household.
