Rajnikanth, Radha, Jai Shankar and Sujatha were as bad (or good) as they can be, and while I remember precious little about the film, some unforgettable lines by the thudikkum (or thudikka vaikkappatta?) janangal after the lights still burn up like halogens.

Another song - Adadaa edhuthan sugamo . SPB and SJ in Thudikum karangal. Nice one
I hear SPB's composing style is to hum the complete tune to his assistants and leave the rest to them. I dont think he even decides the interludes.So, the orchestration and arrangement credit must go to his assistants - probably the assistants had imbibed standard stuff from MD's they had worked with previously and hence all the elements from previous MD's.
Anyone has further insider info?

Does this song have a trace of "Ilaigal Meedhum Malargal Meedhum Pani Vizhum Kaalam?" (Janani?) in the interludes?

I am not too fond of Megam Mundhaanai. Thenagaththil Holi? That's one reason. The other is the echo of "Koovungal Sevalgalae" (Raanuva Veeran) when I hear Megam. Just me, I guess?
However, Adada Ithudhaan is a lovely number. SJ-SPB = Spontaneous Combustion! :wink:
