Time to empower our creators with the freedom the European directors enjoy. We can't allow the rabid religious fanatics to take control of the press and electronic media. It has even stooped down to the levels of directors like Kamal giving clarifications that nothing is against "them" in their films. Time to follow the European route. Kamal who speaks a lot against the censor board and the moral policing in TN should also stand up against this just like he did for Sandiyar. I am not surprised to see this from SAC who is planning the political entry for his son. Well expected.

true, we can try it out....but these instigator groups should be abolished......guys like ramdoss, krishnasamy, hindu makkal katchi or watver nonsense, devar sangams, muslim munnetra(tha pathhi kavalaye padatha) kazhagam etc etc who watch movies to somehow find out any offensive material and make issue out of it - must be gagged.......

if someone is making good fun of my caste, religion or nationality or rahman fan club(:lol2:) - i do not get agitated by it unless instigated.......

History is very important. Bal Thackeray was the one who threatened Mani's team for the movie "Nayagan" and in fact he seen this movie as a censor board and provided a go for release after several talks. We don't know how many scenes he asked Mani to remove.
