1 cup rava
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup oats
1 medium onion chopped fine
1 green chillie chopped fine
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbs coriander leaves chopped fine
Salt to taste
Enough water
Method:
Dry roast the oats and grind to coarse powder.
In a bowl, add in the rava, all purpose flour, ground oats.
Salt, green chillies, cumin seeds, and salt.
Mix every well, add in enough water to make a batter of dosai consistency.
Add in the chopped onions and the coriander leaves. Mix well.
Heat a dosai kal, pour a laddle full of the batter.
Spread into thin dosai, pour little oil around the dosai.
Flip it over when one side is cooked. Cook the other side also.
Remove and serve with any chutney.
NOTE: Do not keep the batter long after mixing, make the dosai
Instantly, other wise the oats will become little thick. (kola-kola)
Healthy buffs can use whole wheat flour instead of all purpose flour.
