Which is the same exact question I have.....there is no source. No trade analysis, nothing of that sort for TN box office. TN box office takes major chunk which pretty much goes unknown and fans keep boasting overseas numbers, which is like may be less than 10%Quote:

This is what my general opinion is ... Vijay has a solid strong hold in UK. It works both ways for Ayngaran and Vijay. So I'm not discounting anything. For numbers from UAE or other areas, it has a strong Malayali population. Drishyam is still going strong in UAE. Imagine the amount of hype an actor generates if his previous film was a blockbuster (Eg. Thuppaaki for Vijay), the exptectation meter is obviously very high and all the malayali fan base will come to see their super star who has 50% weightage in a tamil movie. So that has helped Jilla a lot. I would say it was a good casting move by the director.Quote:

Evlo discuss panninalum, evloo sanda pottalum, evlo screenshots pottalum difference so far have been less than a crore. Some even half a crore. Both movies doing so well... When was the last time this happened?
