A couple of Kamal movies in the last couple of days:

* NAYAGAN - A needless-to-say-more classic! Have watched it so many, many times till now. But the one thing that stood out this time though is the kind of portrayal of the friendship between Kamal and Janagaraj. At multiple occasions, I was made to feel, wow - what great friendship! 8-)

* SAVAAL - Just finished the first half! Hilarious so far... Nice masala! :)

* Kamal is thrown out of his daughter's car in the beach, and when Janagaraj says, "Enna Nayakarae, vayasu aaiduchu", Kamal jumps and grabs him.

* I think when Janagaraj is arrested or something by Nasser, Kamal shouts to Delhi Ganesh, "Selva mela kaiya vechanaa" or something to that effect.

and so on and so forth. The list is endless... :)

Watched Nayagan last Sunday on K TV. Velu Nayakkar and Selva's frinendship was shown very well,, Even the Character of Delhi Ganesh was portrayed very well... Even after so many years, after multiple viewing... Gem of a film.. :notworthy:

Superb compilation, K-g! :clap: Acting (the emotions, body language, voice modulation, nuances etc.) comes very easily for Kamal... Particulary enjoyed Nandhu on steroids walking in a shopping mall - minimla dialaaks - just acting - Kamal only fossible. :notworthy: That's why actors like Naseeruddin Shah/Om Puri, being great actors themselves, keep re-iterating that Kamal is always "one up".
