Um....tats nice Arthi but personally I dont believe tat rituals/customs nec. indicate sumone being pious....also these sumthing we can only see being followed physically in front of us, so we wudnt know how genuine tat person really is......Quote:

Arthi: A person who is not relegious or does not follow rituals is not a bad person. There are really genuine people who think doing good is much better than going to temple. So keep your mind open :)
i'll marry only a scientist/researcher i.e if i am able to find one. else I'll learn to live alone. It won't be a problem for me either way as I am a loner and prefer to brood in solitude.

I'd at one point of time wanted to marry a (school) teacher (& still do) as tats one of the few professions I respect.....:)

You can be both; religious and do good at the same time. They are found to be complimentary. Being religious don't mean going to temple all the time. I find it necessary to go (not necessarily frequently) and meditate with a group which is more effective than doing it alone.
The Gita clearly says, if one has to work and can't make it to places of meditation, the reason of work, is acceptible. If you are not working or can't make it to places of mediation/temples, you can listen to God's word; listening to bhajans is an acceptible compromise.
