Just a quick recap (rephrasing information from other sources)
Seems to be quite exciting.
Thamarai's ashes are being thrown into the sea. Andavarlingam's hired thug goes to kill GJ but ends up slashing Selvi's neck. She is rushed to hospital. Since she was with GJ at the time, everyone suspects GJ and he is arrested by police.
Meanwhile Arasi conducts the "homam" for her daughter Kalai. Yogeswaran turns up and tells her that her other daughter's life is the one in danger but Arasi decides that her current family is more important and doesn't follow him to the hospital. But afterwards, she tells the priest to conduct the homam for Selvi's name.
Selvi is saved but cannot talk. However she writes that GJ was not the guilty one and he is released.
thanks annamalaiyar for the quick recap.

Yes... Nomore Rameswaram.
In 'Annamalai', they started in beautiful Alwarkurichi, after some episodes they moved to Chennai.
In 'Selvi' also the initial secenes in wonderful Srilanka, then jumped to Chennai.
(By the way, the comery serial 'Chinnapapa Periyapapa', they told in the last episode that, they are going to continue from Malaysia. What happened then...??)
Was it true that the original director of "Annamalai", CJ Baskar, wanted the story to continue in Alwarkurichi but unfortunately they lost permission to film in the Annamalaiyar Temple there so they had to move the storyline to Chennai. We never saw the interior of the Alwarkurichi temple again. Even at the end, Annamalai was supposed to retire into the temple but she goes to the Thiruvannamalai temple.Quote:
