lm RR I don't seny the fact that vivek doesn't have double meanings or anysuch thing.......but his comedies can be rejoiced even if u don't understand the pun he intends........and I do like other koundamani jokes I just don't know the name of thémovie...........

Same here :) And the 'hit' comedies of Goundamani were mostly when he got himself combined with Senthil. Senthil has played a vital role in GM's success but that's hardly mentioned. romba satham pOdAma, athigam pEsAma - 'innocent comedy' paNNi sirrikka vekka mudiyum SenthilAla. That's a rare talent and I see that talent in Paandi from Kana Kaanum KaalangaL. But I would rate Paandi a little above Senthil mainly because of his timing sense. He is also good at serious acting and possesses skills like singing, dancing etc


Anyway, Vivek is the ultimate :thumbsup:

I like him :) .. all his comedies are so good & he never insult others in his comedies....

Vivek comedies are not that great for me after few times of viewing :|

Dum Dum Dum was also ultimate.. Saamy etc etc.. and "Middleclass Madhavan" or some similar low budget kudumba padathula there are some gems in that like "I will try my best" :rotfl:


I like the comedy of all 3 almost equally but with a slight margin, my order is Vadivel followed by Gounder/Vivek

roshan and RT so true about senthil.....comedy gets cheap wen there are insults and beatings and senthil has always kept up his standards.........plus his dialogue delivery is GOOD

Missed Dumm Dumm Dumm & Palayatthu Amman (That Yagava munivar interview :lol:). Minnale and Run were good when I saw them first. Adhukkappuram bore adichuduchu.

Bang on! Even I was a huge fan of vivek until 2005 :roll: But his comedies don't stand the test of time, at least for me. Goundar/VadivEl one-liners ellAm eppO vENAlum pAkkalam and they are the most quoted among general fublic..
