'vanjikodi' is a nice song. Never heard this before. A very nice melody. Reminds me of melodies like 'Kaadal Vaanile'. The first interlude is very nice.

A side effect of your posting is that not only do we get to hear the song posted by you but we also check out the other songs in the movie. I find that most of the songs in this movie 'Kanna Unnai Tedugiren' are quite nice. All of them are melodious, though they are synth driven. 'Koyil Mani Kaettene' is very nice. I haven't heard either about this movie nor about the songs.

The female voice is Bela, Bela Shinde, the one who has sung the song in Valmiki (Kooda Varuviya). She has sung most of the songs in Nannavanu. The guy sounds very 'Rajkumar'ish.

Your selection is superb. I too love this song and listen to it atleast once. I am not sure if this is pure Madhyamavathi. It has some shades of Suddha Dhanyasi as well. Posting on this song earlier, vel had said that Raja has probably used more than one scale. All said and done, a lovely song.
