BADRI FLAVOR IN THALA 55?
Remember, Shihan Hussaini the martial arts expert who has acted in Vijay's Badri and helped Vijay in performing the martial arts portion in the film. Now the latest we hear is that Shihan Hussaini might play a important role in Ajith's 55th film which is to be directed by Gautham Menon.
Though Hussaini was not keen in acting in films for some time, now he is said to be impressed with Gautham Menon's script and his characterization. Ajith 55 will kick start soon and already the team is finalizing the pre-production work , including location hunting and costume designs.
Produced by AM Ratnam the film will have Anushka in the female lead and Harris is likely to compose the music.

With the movie's commencement approaching fast, another news item has started doing rounds about the film that will be directed by Gautham menon with Ajith playing the lead role. "My attention was brought to some reports in leading websites today that I will be acting in Goutam menon's film starring Thala Ajit . I strongly deny this . Neither did Goutam invite me to act , nor did I agree to do this film . Goutam Menon is a good friend and we have met on a few occasions recently .
That's all .
Ajit is one of my favorite actors and Goutam is a talented director . But I won't be acting in any movie till I launch my own production ' MUDIVU ! Soon !"

'Thala 55' gets one out of its two deadly baddies
Gautham Menon's films are always known for their splendid camera work. Right from his first film to his recent ones, the cameramen who have worked on his films such as Ravi Varman, R.D.Rajasekhar and Manoj Paramahamsa to name a few, have gone on to rake in a lot of accolades for their work.
For Gautham's upcoming film with Ajith (Thala 55), the cinematographers who are under consideration are Dan MacArthur and S.R.Kathir. The final choice hasn't been made yet and we have to wait for an official confirmation. Dan is already working in the Gautham-Simbu film which is under production, while S.R.Kathir was noted for his work in Kattradhu Thamizh, Subramaniapuram and many more films.
Regarding the casting for this film, we hear that there will be two villains in the movie, out of which one has already been cast while discussions regarding the casting for the other villain's role are happening.
