BTW, the Thalapathi song I meant was the temple version (i wrongly typed it as Janaki version.. me a dumbo..!!).
Yaathramozhi - one song am still looking for is the one that one that mohanlal and shivaji sing (thatharam something).
Dhoori dhoori - only PS pathos version is in cooltoad.
Paatupadavaa song - except the chinna kanmanikkulley and iniya gaanam, others are available in cooltoad.

Does anyone have copies of IR's concerts before Netru Indru Naalai? It would be great if there was a compilation of his previous concerts. I am sure those that are part of his official website must have knowledge and means to procure copies. Would love to get ahold of them.
I have myself seen his 1997? Kerala concert. Unfortunately, don't have a copy.

It is indeed a great gem from the vintage raja tresure box. great prelude, bass guiter and orchestration..i really pity that these songs did not get the due recognition.. i inow magine how it will sound if the CD version of this song is played on a DTS system !!

I love listening to IR's preludes and interludes. So I put together a *rather crude* mix of some preludes and interludes from some selected songs (in a few hours using audacity and some poor quality mp3s!). Check it out:

Interesting! Just wish the transitions were smoother (also wish the music itself a li'l slower). Probably you can include BGM's as well and think of a symphonic architecture overall (e.g. adagio first, allegro later). Then you may have a creative product!
Thanks! One reason for the discontinuity was the quality of the mp3s. The mixes with different interludes of the same song are smoother than with other songs. I also had to adjust the tempo of the parts to try to keep it uniform. Will try better next time.Quote:

I had tried to keep the rhythm measure and tempo uniform, but I see you have mixed 8 beat and 6 beat songs.
