I liked this villain actor:
Saleem Ghouse
2 of his notable performances:
Jinda - vetri vizha
sakkarai kavunder - chinna gounder
The most likeable part in him:
His manly voice :notworthy:
Aana indha 2 character mattumdhan manasula irukku. What are the other films he did?

RED.... saw a couple of weeks before in Sun TV
Saleem Ghouse was wasted in Red... He is a better actor than the role he played in the movie.
Other actor that comes to mind is Charanraj and even Anandraj could have reached better heights.
thAzhvAram for Bharathan in MalayALam is by far the best performance of his I have seen.Quote:

Definitely:
VIJAYAKANTH
I was watching the first 20 - 25 mins of:
naane raja naane mandhiri
I think, this is a unique film for VK & he never repeated this kind of character in his other 151 films.
I feel, directors never utilised his talent in this aspect.
I saw starting from the introduction stage play till Radhika's arrival (after VK does the interview  )... in between, there is GM scene where he was made to take one half of his moustache
In this, VK acts like GM way
solla pOna.. ippo irukkira iLaya thalaimurai nadigargalukku Vijayakanth endha vidhathilum nadippil salaithavar alla.
Karan ....
 not sure if somebody mentioned him already ;-) 15 pages thedi paaka somberi thanam ;-) so, solli irundhaal nalladhu :P
hes a very talented actor .... some of his brilliant performances were Nammavar, Love Today, Kannedhire Thondrinaal, Kokki n much more ...
i would quote his best portrayal was in the movie Nammavar .... i am really not sure why Kamal didnt give him more chances in his later movies .... he would have been a good choice in Panchathanthiram too i would say ... but somehow he didnt click well ....
Saw Clips from Malayan. Karan is pretty funny as rough and tough dude but is scared of the heroine. This scene for instance:
He and Ganja Karuppu would be on bicycle, Karan would get off to answer nature's call. The girl would harass Ganja karuppu asking for license and RC book and whether he can do 8. Ganja runs to Karan who is still doing his business.
G: Anney, antha ponnu license, RC, ketkura...appuram 8 poda solluraa-nee.
K: Dey, ithukkelam yeenda 8 podurathu
