ஆஸ்கர் நாயகன், உலக நாயகன் என்று தனது ரசிகர்களால் அழைக்கப்படும் கமல்ஹாசன் இன்று ஹாலிவுட் நாயனாகியுள்ளார். ஆஸ்கர் விருது குறித்து கமல் இப்போதெல்லாம் பேசுவதில்லை. காரணம், அது நமக்கு சம்பந்தமில்லாத ஒரு விருது என்பது அவரது கருத்து.

தேவர் மகனைப் போல, அபூர்வ சகோதரர்களைப் போல அருமையான ஒரு ஜனரஞ்சகமான படத்தை ஹாலிவுட் ஸ்டைலில் தரப் போவதாக கமல்ஹாசன் கூறியுள்ளார். அப்படியானால் மேற்கண்ட இரு படங்களையும் சூப்பர் ஹிட்டாக்க உதவிய இன்னொரு கரமான இளையராஜாவும் இந்த ஹாலிவுட் படத்தில் இணைவாரா என்ற சுவாரஸ்யமான எதிர்பார்ப்பு எழுந்துள்ளது.
மேலும் இந்தக் கதை இந்திய பின்னணியுடன் கூடிய மேற்கத்திய கதை என்று பேரி ஆஸ்போர்ன் ஏற்கனவே சொல்லியுள்ளார்.அப்படி இருக்கும்போது கமல்ஹாசன் ரசனை புரிந்த, ராஜா இசையமைப்பதே பொருத்தமாக இருக்கும் என்று இருவரின் ரசிகர்களும் எதிர்பார்ப்பாக உள்ளது.
அப்படி நடந்தால், கமல் அதைச் செய்தால், பாரெங்கும் ஏற்கனவே பரந்து விரிந்து வலம் வந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் நமது ராஜாவின் இசைக்கு மேலும் ஒரு அங்கீகாரம் கிடைக்க வாய்ப்பு ஏற்படும். இளையராஜாவின் இசை மாயாஜாலத்தை ஹாலிவுட்டினரும் அறிந்து கொள்ளும் வாய்ப்பு உருவாகும்.

இந்த நாட்டை வளப்படுத்தியவர்களை படையெடுத்தவர்கள் என்றும், சுரண்டியவ்ர்களை வருகை தந்தவர்கள் என்றும் எப்படி சொல்லலாம் என்பது நான் வைத்த விவாதம்

My 3 posts above, however, doesn't mean I have any expectations that KH will work with IR for any future Indian / International projects. (I don't think it will happen ever again, given the MX debacle and the subsequent successes KH had working with others. If any such miracle happens, won't be disappointed, however).
My posts were basically to clarify the post that wrote-off rAsA as a non-contender for city-based or big-bud movies anymore. Even in TF -where he is currently an untouchable for almost all big names, he is in NEPV today :-)
