I cant believe how some posts here show all spoilers. Please show coutersy to fellow hubbers who have not seen them yet. Some aspects of the movie has been ruined for me now.

Lingaa – 2.75/5. 1st half is a jolly good ride, initial flashback scenes including train fight is terrific, 2nd half long drawn out climax.
#Lingaa -2.75/5. It is pure vintage @Rajinikanth in style & punch dialogues, but the story lacks emotional connect and weak villains.
#Linga 2.75/5. Highlights - #Rathnavelu's camera & #SabuCyril's production designs. C it for 1-man entertainment troupe called #Rajinikanth.

Pillaivaal giving less marks for Rajini film :) can't believe.. I think he gave 3.5 for Kochadaan..

In terms of BO, there will not be any problem I think.. In my office group of guys who watched the movie in the morning show came to the office and told that Movie is not good. Even then a bigger gang is going for the evening show..

Villains were really weak too..!!

Why blame ARR? His last three outings with Rajni are Sivaji, Enthiran and Koch. While the first two were instant chartbusters, Koch's only plus was its music. Especially the RR.

I agree Kochadaiyan had some wonder full songs, but in Linga it is a big let down!, I have not seen the film yet, hence can not comment on the BGM , but none of the songs stays in mind that easily ! Rajni + ARR +SPB songs Have always been Chartbusters , but "oh Nanba" (minus SPB), there is nothing to say about this song, it lacks the energy and kick of an opening song for Rajni !
