In the Asianet awards function, it was Mammotty who gushed about Kamal saying that he came to films mimicing Kamal initially. Mohanlal, though, was muted in that function. Depends on the mood pOla!

Exactly. That too in front of all of them. That Kamal deserves such a praise is another issue, but he should not have compared Kamal with the other big-wigs. I am not really a fan of that speech, தன்னை தாழ்த்தி கமலை உயர்த்தி பேசிருக்கனும்னு அவசியமே இல்லை - கமலே சொன்ன மாதிரி.
