And thanks to Kolkata Knight Riders going down in a thriller to Mumbai Indians on Sunday night, CSK are second in the table, which is a huge advantage this season.
If Dhoni’s men can’t topple the Royal Challengers Bangalore in Mumbai on Tuesday in the semi-final, they get another chance to get into the title round via the second eliminator.
